Hmong Women Society, a sub-organization under the umbrella of Hmong Mutual Assistance Association of Sheboygan, is located on 2304 Superior Avenue, Sheboygan, WI 53081. We are a 501C non-profit organization.

Hmong Women Society (HWS) started in 1983 to inspire women, youth, and families to discover their power from within and unleash it to benefit the community at large through cultural preservation, leadership development, and volunteerism. The objective of HWS is further the Hmong community through
education programs, leadership development, and cultural preservation. Throughout the 41 years, our members have generously and passionately served our community, especially women and youth.

To create opportunity to inspire change and impact Hmong lives locally and worldwide.
Our Mission
To be a force of change that empower Hmong youths, women, and families to preserve their cultural identity, pursue higher education, and develop worldly leaders for a brighter future.

Hmong Women
We seek to inspire Hmong women to:
• Be the first teacher for her children
• Be a leader in her family and community
• Seek higher education so she can be an equal contributor to her family
• Be a strong, confident, respectful, and loving life partner to her husband
Hmong Family
Through community work, Hmong Women Society members contribute their creativity, time, resources, and energy to host functions such as the Hmong New Year, Summer Festival, Community cultural programs, Hmong inspired fashion design, and other fundraising functions to bring families and communities together to build a strong and proud Hmong community.
Hmong Youth
Hmong Women Society seize opportunities to plant seeds of change and leadership in the youth so that they can learn to be confident, independent, assertive, goal driven, and successful in all facets of life. In essence, they will become a role model at home, school, and community. Our youth will strive to:
